The students have been training hard for the last 9 months after winning a place on the WKA England Squad.
When the Students arrived in Spain and attended the opening ceremony for the games, they seemed quite tiny and insignificant compared to the huge squads sent by the other countries, but they soon made their make.
The small squad created quite a stir as new comers to the championships.
On attending their first event Robyn Clifford, aged 13 years and Tisharne Wallace, Aged 11 soon made their mark in beating Germany, Spain, Ireland, America and Italy to the Semi finals of the forms category.
The other competitors started asking who they were and what country they represented. All the other events that the children took part in created the same impact.
The students that took part were James Garratt age 7, Mark Laing age 9, Kiah Wilson-D'Souza age 9, Jacob Richards age 10, Lauren Garratt age 11, Tisharne Wallace age 11, Khari Campbell-Lawrence age 11, Robyn Clifford age 13, Arun Leer age 14, Ajay Leer age 14, Cejay Bailey age 15, Leslie Latchman age 16 and Abian Richards age 18 years.
They achieved 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 8 bronze medals.
