You are invited to our forthcoming National Open Karate Championships, which will be held at the Birmingham City University Doug Ellis Sports Centre

Perry Barr Birmingham B42 2SY on Sunday 15^th May 2011.

If you came 1^st 2^nd or 3^rd in your category at the

Zen-Shin Karate Open

Congratulations, you have qualified for the WKA World Championships.

All places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

This year in Karlsruhe/Germany! 21.08. - 28.08.2011

You are invited to the Squad training sessions, the dates will be annoced at a later date.

To secure your place in the WKA England squad for the World Championships in Karlsruhe/Germany a deposit of £150 is required by 31st May 2011.

The total estimated cost of the trip is:

Competitor £590 per person (including travel)

Spectator £550 per person (including travel)

Included within this, will be

• 7 nights stay  in a 4 Star hotel, includes breakfast
• Your first start fee or spectators entry for the duration of the Championships
• License book and Stamp

In an attempt to keep costs down we will use the track suit design from the WKA World Championships in Scotland 2010.  You can therefore, subject to your tracksuit being in good repair re-use it this year.  To order new ones please call 0121 233 2577. We are also fund raising to try and support the squad and cut the cost for the whole team.

The return transfer arrangements to/from Germany are still to be arranged and will be additional to the above cost.
